We are a small, local charity called Loving by Giving, whose aim is to help people in need, especially those in poverty. One of our current projects is that we want to supply backpacks to the prison, so that when ex-offenders are released, who are at risk of being homeless, they can receive a backpack with essentials, like toiletries, etc. As part of these backpacks, we would like to provide them with warm hats and gloves as well.

We have knitted for the Norfolk and Norwich Premature Baby Unit for a long time and recently had a request for very, very tiny hats (egg cup size). They now save such tiny babies it is hard to get things small enough for them. We have a lovely pattern of a tiny baby hat with a flap - just see our patterns section. We have also donated blankets, journey bags, incubator quilts, snuggle triangles and baby bumpers.
